An experienced pop culture writer, I specialise in writing about entertainment, social media and art. In the lifestyle arena, I cover travel, health, parenting, home and wellness, crafting anything from a long read on mental health to a listicle on unsolved mysteries. My work has appeared in Time Out, Vogue, Grazia, Harper’s Bazaar, The Sun, Gulf News, Khaleej Times, Sorbet, Now, and The National and more. As a freelance editor at The National newspaper in Abu Dhabi, I create daily digital content across the arts, culture and lifestyle sections. I am the former editor of celebrity, fashion and lifestyle weeklies OK! Middle East, Ahlan!, and Scene. Other senior editorial positions I have held include group editor of Cosmopolitan Middle East, acting managing editor of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, copy editor for Vogue Arabia and commissioning editor for lifestyle, fashion and culture quarterly Sorbet.

Storyteller.

Creating engaging, attention-grabbing content and telling stories from Hollywood to human interest is my passion. Global brands I have worked with include VW, Swarovski, Ritz-Carlton and HP. I have reported from red carpets and global events including the Cannes Film Festival and F1. My career has taken me from interviewing celebrities at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to Madonna’s favourite jewellery designer in Bali, and from covering the elephant polo in Thailand to lunching with a Rolling Stone scion at Coachella.
